Team workshops

Team workshops that improve how work gets done

A facilitated session for a team that needs to reset, clarify how it works together, or deal with tension that has become part of the daily routine. The work is practical, direct, and built around the team's real situation.

Who it is for

This is useful when…

  • A team that has lost clarity on roles and expectations
  • A new team that needs to agree on how it will work together
  • A team that avoids difficult conversations
  • A team dealing with change, growth, or restructuring
  • A team that works across departments and needs better handovers
  • A leadership team that needs to function as one team

What we work on

A team that decides, not one that avoids.

01

Team agreements

How the team communicates, makes decisions, handles disagreement, and follows through — written down and owned by the team.

02

Roles and expectations

Who does what, where the handovers are, and what “good” looks like when the work is busy or ambiguous.

03

Feedback and difficult conversations

Practical ways to raise an issue early, give useful feedback, and disagree without damaging the working relationship.

04

Working across teams

For teams that depend on other departments: clearer interfaces, fewer assumptions, and a better escalation path.

How it works

Designed around your team's real work.

01

Pre-brief

A conversation with the team lead or sponsor to define the issue, the group, and what a useful outcome looks like.

02

Design

A session plan built around the team's real work, not a generic team-building script.

03

Facilitation

A structured session that keeps the conversation focused, makes room for quieter voices, and turns discussion into decisions.

04

Follow-up

A short review with the team lead, plus practical tools for keeping the agreements alive.

The shape of the day

What a workshop actually looks like.

A typical full-day session moves from the current situation to a small number of agreements the team can keep. Nothing is decided for the team in the room; the team decides.

  • Morning: what is actually happening, in the team's own words
  • Midday: where work breaks down, and why
  • Afternoon: agreements, owners, and a review date
  • Closing: what the team will stop doing as well as start

Formats

Formats that fit a working week

  • Half-day or full-day workshops
  • Typically 6–20 participants
  • On-site across Europe, or online
  • One team, a leadership team, or two teams that need to work together

Outcomes

What the team leaves with

  • Clear team agreements that people actually remember
  • Fewer misunderstandings about roles and priorities
  • A more direct and respectful way to raise problems
  • A team that can handle disagreement without avoiding it

FAQ

Practical questions

Do you offer standard team-building activities?

No. These are working sessions, not games. The content is built around the team's real work, relationships, and recurring friction. Expect a structured conversation and concrete agreements.

How many people can join?

Most workshops work best with 6–20 participants. For larger groups we can design a format with breakout sessions or a train-the-facilitator approach.

Can the workshop be adapted to our needs?

Yes. Workshop content is adapted to the team, the sector, the format, and the outcome you need. A typical approach is a starting point, not a fixed script.

What do you need from us before the session?

A short brief and, where useful, a few confidential conversations with team members. This helps us avoid designing a session around the wrong problem.

Next step

Start with the team.

A short conversation is enough to decide whether a workshop is the right fit, who needs to be in the room, and what a useful outcome looks like.
